Kelly Oberbillig, BA, WFR Behavioral Neuroscience Support Coach
My name is Kelly Oberbillig and I work at Serenity Mountain our staffed residential treatment center for teens. I graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Behavioral Neuroscience. Every minute I can, I spend my time being active and outside. You can catch me in the Cascades or the Puget Sound backpacking, climbing, kayaking, snowshoeing, etc. I love how easy it is to get immersed in nature and detach from technology. Before working at reSTART, I was a wilderness guide and challenge course facilitator. I love using the wilderness and experiential education to help denote how thought and action are intertwined. I am excited to bring those elements to reSTART and facilitate fun and enlightening experiences for our clients. Life is truly about balance and I seek to create a wholesome experience where students learn compassion, creativity, leadership, patience, restraint, etc. The internet is an important integration in society, yet sometimes so engaging that it can dull our daily lives and relationships. When you lose sight of the vibrance and richness in life itself, its time to reevaluate. I hope to help people rediscover a passion for life by promoting self-awareness of their mind, emotions, actions, and surroundings.
