reSTART Leadership Academy | Our private school

reSTART offers personalized private school education for enrollees in our residential care facility. Our hope at reSTART is to re-engage distracted learners, and ensure they don’t fall behind their peers while learning to manage their digital media use. Students generally continue with their home school district course materials when they first arrive in an effort to stay on track with their current coursework assignments depending on their anticipated length of stay, and individual needs.

For those in longer term care, students are enrolled in The reSTART Leadership Academy; a private school approved by the Office of Public Instruction (OSPI) in the State of Washington. The reSTART Leadership Academy partners with the Alta Independent; a private and accredited schooling partner for our high school age students. Our partnership with Laurel Springs fosters an unmet need in the education arena, namely personalized academics in a tech-limited/tech-free environment where the entire environment, and natural setting is the classroom. At reSTART, we do not utilize online based education materials which many programs offer, rather our students will be taught using text book based courses offerings, with many AP level courses designed specifically to meet their individual needs.
