reSTART Licensing and Credentials

reSTART offers a large family of services for individuals, youth and families. Each program is licensed and credentialed differently depending on the type of services being offered. reSTART Life is also longstanding member of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP) in good standing.

In addition, every employee that works for reSTART:

  • Completes a thorough background check conducted by the Department of Children, Youth and Families in Washington state (this includes an FBI background check as required.)
  • Is certified in First Aid/CPR and receives crisis prevention training
  • Receives pre-service training, and is required to complete 24 hours of continuing education (or more) annually regardless of position

reSTART Life – Serenity Mountain (Adolescent Care)

Our residential group care facility holds a Children’s Agency License and is in compliance with and pursuant to the laws of the State of Washington and the Licensing requirements of the Department of Social and Health Services effective September 15, 2016. Our provider number is 1074190. We are actively seeking accreditation with the Joint Commission (JCAHO) at the present time.

reSTART Life – Bellevue Campus Agency

All behavioral health services offered in our programs are provided by licensed healthcare providers in Washington state. Each member of our clinical team is credentialed/licensed by the Washington State Department of Health to provide individual, family and group therapy, diagnostic assessments, and naturopathic medicine. An outpatient specific facility license is not required since we do not provide medicare/medicaid services. Our clinical director holds a Ph.D. and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Washington.

Heavensfield Retreat Center is licensed by the Department of Health as a Transient Accomodation facility.

Rise-Up Ranch

Rise-up Ranch is a sober living recovery home. In Washington state, sober living homes do not require a special license. As part of our mission to provide the highest level of care, our facility far exceeds sober living facility standards allowing for the highest de-tech sober-living experience possible.
