Needed upon arrival
- Your driver's license or state issued photo identification
- Your medical insurance card (copy of front and back)
- Completed financial sponsor paperwork
- Tuition payment
- Medication packaged by GroupRX for reSTART
- Advanced directives (if you have them)
Medications
All medications should arrived packed by Group RX in individualized packets with labels attached. All prescriptions must be prescribed by a physician. Unlabeled medication, and medication not prescribed by a doctor will be sent home. Please have enough for medication for the first 6-7 weeks.
Basic clothing to pack
- Jeans
- Tennis shoes, slippers, sandals, casual shoes
- Socks (6 pair)
- Hat or cap (if desired)
- Robe
- Bathing suit
Clothing to bring for our Pacific Northwest Weather
The following items need to be made of polyester, moisture wicking or dry release materials:
- Polyester cargo hiking pants
- Sweats/workout clothes (2)
- Shorts (3)
- Sweatshirts (2)
- T-shirts, polo-shirts (6)
- Long sleeve shirts (2)
What to pack for our adventure activities
- Lightweight down jacket (fall/winter/spring participants)
- Waterproof rain jacket
- Waterproof hiking boots
- Fleece jacket (we layer in the Pacific Northwest)
- Gloves and hat (for winter/spring arrivals)
- 2 pair of hiking socks
- 2 pair of hiking sock liners
- Small personal first aid kit
- Sunscreen, Insect repellent (non-aerosol please)
- Travel size hand soap and hand sanitizer
- Lightweight backpacking mess kit
- Headlamp flashlight with batteries
- Small camp pillow (if desired)
- 1 person lightweight backpacking tent
- Lightweight sleeping bag (0-degree (winter, spring or fall arrival) or 15-degree (summer)
- Backpacking pack (Recommend REI brand backpack 65-70 L gear capacity)
Personal items
- Water bottle
- Toothpaste/toothbrush
- Brush/comb
- Electric razors (battery operated)
- Daily vitamins (D-3, B12 if desired)
Optional items
- Your own pillow
- Musical instruments (encouraged)
- Pictures of loved ones
- Journal or notebook
- Postcards. stationary and stamps
- List of phone numbers/addresses from your phone
Items provided by reSTART
- Bedding
- Laundry supplies
What NOT to bring
- Outside reading materials (e.g., magazines, novels, papers, books, kindles). All outside reading materials will be mailed back home.
- Digital devices (i.e., MP3 players, headphones, vr headsets, cameras, televisions, game boys, pagers, kindles, netbooks, tablets, computers, or other digital devices. This is a "de-tech" experience, so please leave these items at home.
- Candy.
- Cash greater than $100
- Guns, firearms, knives, ammunition or weapons of any kind
- Clothing with gaming related content or suggestive materials (e.g., drugs, alcohol, sex)
- Cigars, chewing tobacco, or snuff
- Cigarettes are not allowed for minors. Adults may smoke (or vape) in designated area only.
What will be stored upon arrival
- Cell phones and digital devices used while traveling will be stored by the staff for the duration of your stay and returned upon departure
NOTE: All items are subject to search upon admission to ensure the safety of all those in our center.
